Sana Pharma Medical at a glance

Sana Pharma Medical was founded in Norway in 2014. We have built our company with strong organic growth, and we now cover all Nordic markets with our own organization. Focus on marketing, sales, and product development is prioritized. Other activities, such as manufacturing and physical distribution are outsourced to reliable third parties.

Sana Pharma Medical invests heavily in education of healthcare professionals, pharmacy employees, and patients across a wide range of channels. We strive to be the preferred partner for pharmacies with education, product selection, and helping customers and patients find the right product solution. Our history has shown that we are on the right path.

One of our most valuable skills is to be agile and efficient in our online marketing campaigns. We dare to challenge the established pharmaceutical industry by using innovative methods - and at the same time follow all laws and regulations.

These efforts have resulted in various awards and innovation nominations in several countries.

CEO

Heidi Tveit

Heidi has been working within the life science for more than 20 years, staring her career as a medical scientist and Associate Professor at Department of Molecular Biosciences at University of Oslo, Norway.


More than 20 years leader experience within both academic and private sector, and her extensive board competence, has been a good platform when building the Nordic pharmaceutical company Sana Pharma Medical AS with its daughter companies in Sweden, Finland and Denmark. Heidi has a special competence and interest in the development and possibilities when the scientific and commercial area are merged. She aims to develop a result oriented, collaborative, cross-functional and multinational agile company culture.

 

Head of M&A

Anders Larnholt

Anders Larnholt has more than 20 years of pharma and healthcare experience from various executive positions, M&A, strategic advisory and board positions at Meda, Trimb Healthcare and other companies. He co-founded Trimb Healthcare that was sold to EQT and Karo pharma in 2019.

He also founded Mallax Pharmaceuticals which merged with Sana Pharma Medical in 2021. Anders has in previous positions completed 100+ pharma and healthcare deals with a total acquisition value of more than EUR 4 billion.

Deals include European and global product acquisitions and licensing deals from international pharma companies such as Roche, Novartis, GSK, J&J as well as many mid-cap pharma companies. Numerous companies and other assets have also been acquired from private equity firms and private individuals. These initiatives transformed previous companies from small Swedish firms to large pharma corporations with thousands of employees and own operations in more than 50 countries.

 

CFO

Morten Brennesvik-Jensen

Morten has more than 25 years of experience within finance, M&A and administration and more than 20 years within pharmaceuticals and food supplement business. Morten has been involved in building up several start-up companies, and has listed and delisted several companies on Oslo stock exchange.

He has been in leading positions within finance and administration in several international companies and groups, responsible for structuring and restructuring groups, building financial management and been in charge of financial and administrative operations. 

His positions has been central in sales and acquisitions of several companies with a transaction value of more than NOK 3 billion.

 

Marketing Director

Anna Bentinger Elmblad

Anna brings a solid track record from the consumer health care industry including a well-founded knowledge within brand-, portfolio and team transformations. With her true passion for healthcare and wellbeing Anna has made significant contributions to commercial agendas across both smaller entrepreneurial companies and bigger pharmaceutical players.

She holds both strategic and tactical experiences from sales, brand building and product development and will use her experiences to accelerate the marketing-and brand agenda by securing a solid foundation and infrastructure supporting the growth journey ahead. Key priorities will be to identify scalability in ways of working and the digital aspects of marketing. Anna joins SPM from Karo Pharma and a position as VP Marketing, responsible for the global growth brands and product development. Before various commercial roles in companies such as Trimb Healthcare, TEVA, Allergan, J&J and others.

 

HEAD OF RA/QA/PV DEPARTMENT

Carolina Vilenius

Carolina has worked in the Pharmaceutical Industry for more than 8 years, most of this time at a consultancy company offering broad expertise on several sectors of the Pharma Industry; Regulatory Affairs, Quality

Assurance, Pharmacovigilance and Marketing Compliance. Carolina has strong experience of working on a Nordic level.

She has worked as Responsible Person for GDP, and is familiar with WDA applications, quality system setup and maintenance, medicinal products distribution and quality assurance of different types of products as well as sample distribution. With her background in a pharmacy, she also understands perspective of supplying the products to end consumer, and she is enjoy working with the patient in focus.

Head of Logistics

Rashid Bhatti

Rashid has 14 years of experience from several renowned retail companies within supply chain and logistics. Positioned at both operational and managerial desks and has worked in different projects related to forecasting & replenishment, demand planning and specializing in process improvement.

His experience within supply chain and vendor collaboration along with strategic purchasing has provided maximum availability and cost-effective end to end supply chain. His strong analytical skills for inventory management, warehousing and replenishment have contributed effective inbound and outbound logistics.

Moreover, Rashid has vast experience with B2B and B2C sales, promotions, and assortment planning. In Sana Pharma Medical he is responsible for all operations for supply chain, logistics and purchasing/procurement.
